Alison Brie will be lending her voice to a character during the upcoming season of Rick and Morty. The guest appearance was confirmed by Spencer Grammer, who plays Morty’s sister Summer. There is no word on the name of Alison’s character or which episode she appears in, but the new season begins on June 20, 2021.

Alison Brie will star in the indie comedy Spin Me Round, which is she co-wrote with friend Jeff Baena last year during quarantine.

Alison Brie plays the manager of the Bakersfield, California franchise of the Italian chain eatery Tuscan Grove. She wins an all-expenses trip to the company’s gorgeous “institute” outside of Florence, Italy, and the chance to meet the restaurant chain’s wealthy and charismatic owner (Nivola). Along with a mismatched group of local American franchise managers, Amber finds a far different adventure than the romantic fantasy she had imagined.

Production of the film will begin in June on location in Italy.

Alison Brie will be one of the voice actors in the new anthology series by Jeff Baena titled Cinema Toast. All 10 episodes of the series will be premiering on Showtime’s demand streaming and partner platforms on Tuesday, April 20th.

Great news! Alison Brie has joined the upcoming anthology series Roar, which will stream exclusively on Apple TV+! Alison will be joining GLOW creators Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch, and the series will feature eight, half-hour episodes, each told from a female point of view. Other actors starring in the series include Nicole Kidman, Cynthia Erivo, and Merritt Wever.
